Footage and Reviews from Previous Productions of Fly, You Fools!

★★★★★ “Genius, sheer genius” “If I had a sixth star at my disposal, I’d gladly add it to the rating” The Times

Following two sell-out seasons at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Recent Cutbacks bring Fly, You Fools! to London for the first time. Proof that even the smallest of acting ensembles can change the course of the future.

Created by the team behind ‘Hold on to Your Butts’, Fly, You Fools! is a live, shot-for-shot parody of the most epic novel and fantasy film of all time.

Three actors and a Foley artist band together in Fellowship to recreate the beloved book and movie into a riotous 60-minute theatrical experience. The adventure comes to life with mime, shadow puppetry, live Foley, and heaps of imagination.

An actor looks out and up with a proud expression, holding an arm flat in front of his chest to simulate a bar.

An actor wearing a white tassled poncho lifts up a hand, their hair blowing behind them.

Three actors, two kneeling in front of another with concerned expressions. The actor behind grins widely and holds a fist aloft in the air with joy.

An actor reaches out with both hands, fingers curled as if performing magic.

Three actors charge forward, one rides on the back of another, holding their arms out as if using reins on a horse.
