An evening of Edinburgh Fringe Previews from some of the most exciting comedians heading to the Fringe this August.

Each night see two comedians for the price of one:

4th June – Rob Copland + Paddy Young
5th June – Emma Sidi + Colin Hoult
6th June – Celya AB + Sophie Duker
7th June – Erika Ehler + Olga Koch
8th June – Jin Hao Li + Kemah Bob

Rob Copland: Gimme (One With Everything) (WIP)

Gimme the thrills, gimme the spills, gimme a man with a microphone in his hand and careless abandon in his heart, gimme the winner of the Comedians Choice Award for Best Show, gimme Rob Copland trying his best despite everything.

Rob’s most recent show ‘Mainstream Muck (Gimme Some of That)’ won the award for Best Show in the Comedian’s Choice Awards in 2022 cementing his status as one of the most exciting acts on the live circuit. He was the first and only act to win this with an Edinburgh debut. Rob was a finalist in Hackney Empire’s and 2Northdown’s New Act of the Year Awards. He won Brian Gitten’s Honk Show.

Jin Hao Li: Swimming In A Submarine (WIP)

In his debut hour, Jin Hao walks you through the seascape of his mind, filled with nightmares of being a spider, dreams of joining the yakuza and breezy memories of serving in the military with the boys.

Confronting fear with mischief and imagination, he surprises with gritty softness, honest lies and pockets of joy.

Southwark Playhouse has a group booking rate of one free ticket in every 10 booked at the same time, and this discount may be combined with applicable concessions (i.e. student rate) where available. Tickets may be reserved for two weeks without payment, and we can send an invoice which can be settled via a card payment, bank transfer, or cheque.
