“…flying…is a lot harder than it looks.”

Is it a bird…? Is it a plane…? No…!

It’s the return of Alistair McDowall’s (Pomona, The Glow, X, all of it) critically acclaimed masterpiece CAPTAIN AMAZING“such full-blooded, big-hearted empathy that you can’t help but be won over” – The Scotsman.

Join the Captain in his latest colourful struggles. From battling arch-nemesis Evil Man, to the epic quest of getting his daughter to school on time. Hear what compelled our unassuming hero to first take flight. And discover how his latest mission might be the hardest one of all.

Donning the cape once more for this 10th anniversary adventure, Mark Weinman delivers his “astonishing solo performance” (Lyn Gardner – The Guardian), in a brand-new production by award-winning director Clive Judd (“… a Mike Leigh in the waiting” WhatsOnStage)

Together, we’ll re-open the pages of this hilarious and heart-breaking story which reminds us that one day, even the bravest of superheroes will need to hang up their cape… forever.

If I could get all your numbers I would ring you all up individually and urge you to see CAPTAIN AMAZING” Simon Stephens
