Aged 65 and over and looking to try something new or develop your existing skills?

We currently have groups that meet weekly throughout the year to take part in workshop activities and rehearse and devise their own productions for performance on stage at Southwark Playhouse and in the community.

The Southwark Players (Monday, 10.30am – 12.30pm) create original productions from scratch and explore texts old and new to present innovative and creative performances.

The Improvisers (Wednesday, 10.30am – 12.30pm) use improvisational and devising skills to create brand new theatre touching on a range of themes and topics.

The workshops are free, there are no auditions and no previous experience is necessary – simply complete the application form below and we’ll be in touch. Please note we do operate a waiting list.
